
Although I’m taking classes in MA, I actually live in Georgia. We don’t get much snow, but it has been raining for two weeks straight. This weather has been really effecting my mood and my ability to stay enthusiastic about maintaining my goals. I’m dying for some sunshine!
I would say I’ve maintained my dietary goals at about 85% this week. I’ve stayed away from soda, had my morning water and vitamins. My daily servings of fruits and veggies have been pretty good, but not perfect. I didn’t do as much home cooking and prep this week. I find that its always harder to maintain a good dietary plan when you’re mostly eating out. But its still possible if you’re really focused on it and not tempted by all the other unhealthy options that will inevitably be in front of you. That’s easier said than done though. Here are some of my healthy restaurant options:


I also did do some simple cooking. Stir fry veggies over rice and plain whole wheat waffle with lots of fruit on top.


The thing that I really didn’t manage this week was my goal of exercise 3 days a week. Since I was pretty aware that my mood was a problem, I opted to focus on meditation instead. I did a meditation every day this week and I think that helped some. We’re do for some sunny days this week. I hope it lasts for a little bit. I’ve had enough of grey skies βοΈπ
